The problem of evil

The problem of evil is a phenomenon which every philosopher has to confront with. Looking back to the history of philosophy, we find many important philosophers, who have dealt with this problem. Among these philosophers, the ideas of Leibniz, St. Augustine, and St. Thomas have an important position. Though these philosophers have explained and given the solutions for the problem of evil, it still remains as an important philosophical stage, which requires further studies and enquiries. There are different types of evil (metaphysical evil, moral evil, physical evil and natural evil). Occurrences of these evils could be identified from the current rhythm of our world. So now the study of evil has more importance than ever before.
So as we are launching before you with our new blog, in this section we will be discussing problem of evil in a quite philosophical manner co-relating both the western and eastern philosophers as well as philosophical systems. We shall have a short study of ‘the problem of evil’ of every philosopher who has dealt with it especially that of St. Augustine, St. Thomas, Leibniz and Buddhist teachers. Introspecting these philosophical approaches towards the problem of evil, we would be capable of finding solutions, which are applicable to the current situations, for evil. Theodicy explains, the evil becomes a problem only to a rational man as well as a faithful mind. So, for us, the becoming philosophers, it remains as an important philosophical problem.
So just stay with us in our journey towards the problem of evil….it will be, fascinating, and useful for all of you…

                                             Thank you for all…
