        Introducing theme Anthropology

            Human is mysterious. She/he cannot be understood fully. There was a time when human was considered as part of nature, a commodity, an image of God (IMAGO DEI) etc. But in this postmodern era she/he is no more the centre of attraction, she/he is just one among the other realities. Through this portion of blog, we are trying to introduce to you the vast world of Anthropology, mainly of its philosophical dimension – ‘The Philosophy of Man’.

·        What is Anthropology and what does it mean?

·        Who is “Man”?

·        Who are the philosophers and what do they speak about the philosophy of Man?

·        Does Man have any importance in this contemporary world?

·        Why in this era, where nature, animals, cosmos, etc, get protection and Man still brutally abused?

·        Why men still die of hunger and violence? Is he still an object than a subject?
